I am writing in regards to a Playstation 5 Disc Version PS5 Console - 4K-TV Gaming, 16G.B. GDDR6 RAM, 8K Output, WiFi 6.
Ultra-High Speed 825GB SSD that I purchased recently and this PS5 caught on fire. It caught on fire in the early morning hours. It caused significant property damage to my home in the thousands of dollars. I also suffered a severe 3rd degree burn to my hand putting out the fire.
Myself and family had to be rushed via ambulance to our local emergency department at the hospital due to my severe 3rd degree burn and we all suffered severe smoke inhalation due to the fire that your defective PS5 caused. I am going to be filing a defective product liability lawsuit against Sony for all property damage and medical bills and pain and suffering due to the PS5 fire. Also for traumatizing my children. I will also be posting this experience with the PS5 on all social media.
Such as your Twitter page and Facebook and Instagram and all other websites that sell or endorse them. Also I will be filing a complaint with the FTC and the Consumer product safety commission and the BBB in your area along with the Attorney General's Office. I am giving your company a big break in the thousands of dollars worth of damages and not ruining your companies name and sales. I am asking for the PS5 to be replaced with a new non defective one.
If it is not replaced in a timely manner I will be forced to take legal and civil action. , Rory Alton
